Fun ways to celebrate your bump

All artists, body painters and anyone who offers fun experiences for women to celebrate their bumps please leave your website addresses in the comments below so we can find you.

Thank God (literally) the days of women hiding their bumps under large unflattering frocks are long gone.. todays women are celebrating their bumps in a multitude of fabulously fun ways.

I live by the ‘everything happens for a reason’ philosophy but I cant get my head around this one

What baffles me is WHY! If everything happens for a reason, why was this coincidence happening, why did I find myself in a celebration environment at the exact time of egg transferral? What was the meaning behind it? The reason it was happening?

Was this about being prepared to give up things or was it about celebrating life and being light and happy and not not being too focussed on the IVF .. its got me, I cant find the right approach to it.

IVF after 40 Step By Step Information

The tests, the ivf drugs, the reactions to the ivf drugs, the Doctors suggestions, the alternate therapies, the positive affirmations and meditations used, what happens on what days of the cycle, its all here.

And its positive! For those of you who have been feeling absolutely petrified to read information on the net for fear of it ‘bringing you down’ I hope my posts will give you the positive feeling you deserve and that is so essential for the IVF process to bring results.

IVF at 41 – Relaxed Positive Determined

Easier said than done sometimes, but its a must. Im using postive affirmations which I say daily when I wake up and any time throughout the day when I feel fear/worry/insecurity rising. Im also listening to a guided meditation cd 3 times a week and bought a beginners yoga dvd which I do 3 times a week. This combination is really doing the trick. Since being determined, positive, calm and relaxed are qualitites we need to learn anyway if we are to be great parents, I figure NOW is a great time to start mastering these skills!! Where our energy flows reality goes!!

IVF – Moving Forward Positively

IVF is the same. When it doesn’t work the first time its painfully disappointing there’s no doubt of this, but its not a reason to give up. As we do in our lives, we need to learn from our experience and move forward trying to do it better next time round. Maybe its putting more heart in to the diet the doctor suggested, maybe its meditating more regularly in order to keep stress levels down and the body more at peace during the process, maybe its sleeping more, maybe its simply being more positive, visualising the positive result we want rather than spending the majority of our time gripped by the fear of failure. There are so many little changes we can make to help things along.

IVF at 41 is going fabulously!

By writing and sharing my story, from the actual decision to have a child at 41 to finding the doctor and begining the treatment, I have hoped to perhaps be the positive feedback for women that I struggled so hard to find in my searches….Of course we are all individuals and each will respond differently to the treatment. My story is just one womans experience. However I feel its important to share it on the off chance that women who are searching the internet to get some idea of the expereince they may go through will come across my story and take some ‘feel good energy’ from me.

What a relief..no transforming into the wicked witch on IVF hormones.

With all the horror stories Id heard and read about how women react to the hormone treatment of IVF, I was absolutely terrified. My husband was too…..On the whole though, theres been no adverse reaction at all. I feel pretty normal. Its really fantastic!!!

Why a generation delayed becoming parents?

These adventurous souls were not the first ever global explorers. Not by a long shot, there have been many throughout history. What stands them apart from others however, was their intention not conquer, but to integrate, to learn and to unite. (Think yoga, Buddhism, chakra healing, reiki, tai chi etc)

IVF – Nasal sprays, daily needles & a fabulous sense of excitement

I cant put my finger on what it is I am so afraid of.. fear of failure, fear of motherhood, or just plain and simple fear of the unknown!

We were stunned. Wow gosh.. we are doing it !!! Thats it, we are on the horse, no more procrastinating. It felt good. We were filled with a sense of excitement and ironically, a lightness of emotions that we have both not felt for months. So much of the fear just seemed to melt away.

IVF and Women In Their 40’s

Please ladies, if you are going through IVF, seriously consider getting a Chinese Doctor to compliment the process. He/She may just well be your life line, when your emotions are peaking.
