You saying Im the Govt’s bitch.. Obligatory Viewing

The ‘war on drugs’ is being funded by tobacco, alcohol and pharmaceutical companies.. Why???

Barney Frank’s comment ‘This notion that we somehow have to approve or criminalize all human activities is a great misunderstanding of Governments’   really turned flicked the switch for me..

I feel like I’ve been living in a cloudy haze and have just walked into the clear clean air.. I never thought about life from this perspective before.

I certainly don’t need the govt to define all my activities into good  bad/ right wrong/ approve  criminalize  categories.  I’m a decent person and I can think for myself.  I can make my own judgements.

If we are not hurting other people or our planet, then it is our god given right to live love and laugh in whatever way we feel like it!

Who do governments think they are, putting their noses so deeply into everyones business. They don’t own us, we are free people.

The role of government is to be our representatives not our masters!

IVF after 40 Step By Step Information

The step by step process of IVF

The miracle of ivf

The miracle of ivf

The tests, the ivf drugs, the reactions to the ivf drugs, the Doctors suggestions, the alternate therapies, the positive affirmations and meditations used, what happens on what days of the cycle, its all here.

And its positive!  For those of you who have been feeling absolutely petrified to read information on the net for fear of it ‘bringing you down’  I hope my posts will give you the positive feeling you deserve and that is so essential for the IVF process to bring results.

While I am not going to go in to too much detail here (I have written about it in depth in my posts) I want to assure you that the IVF process is NOT anywhere near as bad as you think it is.  Its true that each person experiences things differently, but from my personal IVF adventure, I found the process to be very straight forward  and not at all painful. It is really OK.  Really.  Relax!

Yes it is challenging emotionally and it has absolutely no guarantees, but hey tell me one thing in life that has been this important to you that hasnt been emotionally challenging..  And on the guarantee side.. apart from toasters, refridgerators and cars what else in life has a guarantee?

This is a journey we are taking because we want to be mothers.. and we are blessed to be living in a modern age where science has developed this amazing technique to allow us this extra try.. so its worth every bit of anxiousness, fear and any other emotion that may run through our veins in this process.

Our job in this process is to be as healthy as happy as relaxed and as positive as we possible can be throughout the treatment . To participate in the process with our full hearts and to keep our minds positive.  The rest is up to life.

Its essential to be as healthy, as relaxed and as positive as you possibly can..

Doing and Being..Finding The Balance

Surrounded by motivated achievers, people with the capacity to fit more into their day than I am comfortable to fit in to a week, I am inspired yet at the same time feel a sense of inadequancy rising.

These supremely acitive souls generally work full time, usually study as well, socialise a number of times in any given week, meet regularly with family, do sport and phew the list goes on !!! Its a whole lot of doing.

Seeping into every nook is cranny of my body is the feeling that Im jsut not doing enough with my life. The opinionated and outspoken self critic, delights in jumping on her soap box to shout out her orders that I need to do more, be more, achieve more and learn more etc etc. Its uncomfortable, debilitating and feels terrible.

Then yesterday as I sat gazing at the tree and listening to the birds outside my window, I heard a quiet little voice whispering to me. Her message was so calm and peaceful.

‘Being’ is also an important part of life.  When life becomes full with doing, there is little time for simply being. Sitting quietly, enjoying stillness and absorbing the sound of silence.  Listening to the essence of life’

Im sure this little voice is my soul. The part of me that is content whole and complete. The part of me that doesnt need to compare myself to others, nor feel bad that I achieve less than some.

She’s reminding me that I am ok exactly as I am. Reminding me that we are all unique and comparing is simply not necessary. Reminding me that all my answers are within and I need only to sit quietly and ‘be’ and all I need to know in life will be revealed.

It was so good to hear her words, thank goodness I had taken a moment to sit quietly so they could be heard.

Until Next time
